Songs from the past

I was listening to some Internet radio recently, and I heard some
songs I hadn't heard for years.

Jean Shepard, Mysteries of Life
Hawkshaw Hawkins, Lonesome 7-7203
Kitty Wells, Thou Shalt Not Steal

Imagine being able to hear anything of that quality on a country
music station today.

Again, you need to seriously bone-up :) on the definition of quality .
One of those three songs is a country music "standard", the other two
are ALMOST as forgettable as most of your posts. :) I'll let you see
if you can figure out which is which. :)

Secondly, you need to get out of your bubble once in a while. Like it
or not, there are PLENTY of songs that will be remembered a
LLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time after at
least two of your examples of "quality" country songs will ever be.

You don't seem to have a clue about music, ... but then again, since
you're a woman, most of the other country music lovers around these
parts probably already know that . :)

oh mean. They are or were all three great artists. Not perhaps my
favorite examples of their work but still.
If Kitty hadn't started it-NO women would be playing in the game.

PUH-LEEZE ! You act like that would be a crime. We're not talking Hank
Williams, Bob Wills or Merle Haggard here ! :)

The FACT is, although there have been a few "women playing in the
game", as you say, very FEW of them ever scored , let alone, even
mattered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Now THERE'S A NEW THREAD if I ever saw
one. :)

Science has since discovered that it's a "left brain - right brain"
thing, in that most women don't get music. Never have, never will.

Not surprisingly, I believe that translates into ALL genre's of
music.

TTMTWBALFPITT :)
