EVERYBODY in the known universe KNOWS Crystal Gayle
Post by ***@aol.com (Noah Tall)recorded a song by that name, THE FFFFN POINT IS, SO DID CHARLEY
PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You off your meds again, Esker?? You are wrong in a big way!!
Believe me, if I HAD TO converse with you on a daily basis, I would
NEED a LOT more than meds. Thankfully I only have to a deal with you a
handful of times a year.
Secondly, as I've PROVEN over the last two decades I'M NEVER WRONG,
which is why I'm your benevolent KING, and you worship the ground I
walk on.
"You Never Did Give Up On Me"
It starts with"
"Through the years with you I have often fallen
I've been every kind of fool a man can be"
Wrong AGAIN IDGIT!!!! (Exactly how MANY times do I have to tell you
something before it sinks into that big pumpkin head of yours?)
Charley Pride NEVER recorded "You Never Did Give Up On Me" , BUT ...
he DID record "You Never Gave Up On Me" which begins:
"Through the years with you I have often
fallen"... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"You Never Gave Up On Me"
For all the times you stood by me,
Through right and wrong,
DIFFERENT TITLE, DIFFERENT LYRICS, DIFFERENT SONG!!!!!!!!!
Ah NOT EXACTLY IDGIT!!!!!!!!!!! (Again EXACTLY how many times do I
have to tell you something before it sinks into that vast wasteland on
top of your shoulders?????)
IT'S THE EXACT SAME TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Think now, why would a woman sing a song in which she states "I've
been every kind of fool a MAN can be"<
PUH - LEEZE! SEE ABOVE!!!!!!!!! Remember, if I wanted to work with the
"mentally challenged" five days a week I would have been a
psychologist. Stop embarassing yourself, re-read the information a
million times, and in the future stay off the computer! Thanks!
Admit you're wrong and pay Merle!<
You BOTH owe me another HUGE apology (again) , so don't forget to
crawl back in like the misbehaving red-headed step-children you
obviously are and while staying on your knees beg forgiveness from
your oh so humble King and country music savant.
P.S. - As a gesture of my benevolence and in an attempt to help my
adoring subjects, I will CORRECT the lyrics that were originally
posted .
The line is "for I never had control of "THE" devil in my soul
and
"when I could "NEITHER break NOR bend"
Remember, this is reason #7,236,981 why I truly am "THE KING"! : )
BTW, when told last Novemeber that the PT needed a water pump (may as
well replace timing belt since it's behind the pump) a couple motor
mounts and two tires, I finally wised up and got rid of it. Picked up
a 2007 low milage, cherry Scion tC. Great little car!!<
A FINAL helping hand. Two "KEY" words :
WHEN TOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Might want to "pick up" a new dealer/mechanic as well. Recommending
replacement of the water pump, is one of if not the "BIGGEST" repair
scam in America today! If you bring your vehicle in for service, at
around 50,000 miles, some/ a lot/ all dealerships (choose the correct
adjective) are going to tell you the water pump is gone, because as
you found out it leads to the "while we're at it", you're getting
close to the recommended timing belt replacement.
I'm happy to say I got the "service advisor" fired for trying to run
that one by me about three years ago. Long story short, I still have
the SAME water pump and naturally the original timing belt!
You're welcome! : )
