Seems to me that Bobby Bare never got the recognition he deserved! I
wonder why? Too easy-going? Not flamboyant enough? He rates high in my
book! -- Dick

Let's see, he was Bill Parson's, I think, when he sang that song
about
"Elvis" being drafted, he sang a song about "The Jogger", he sorta
likes to
be unordinary, reckon that's why. He must be doin' ok, tho, he
keeps puttin'
out cd's. Blue

I did some googling and came across the following article, which
explains how Bobby Bare's voice was incorrectly credited to Bill
Parsons.

http://www.rockabilly.nl/references/messages/bill_parsons.htm

So Bobby wasn't Bill if that article is true. -- Dick
