Y'all remember when Dolly did that TV ad for some laundry detergent?
They had free towels inside the boxes. She'd say "you'll get a free
pretty "tal-o" in every box." Classic Tv ads. I love 'em. "Crisco will
do you rite ever time," I know there's gotta be more?

The most surprising one to me, was Waylon and Willie; touting Pizza Hut.
That seemed really out of character for both of them.

Tom T. Hall for Chevy Trucks, and Purina Dog Chow.

Probably the most classic promo, was Faron Young's commercial for a
headache powder; don't recall whether it was BC, or Stanback?

Seems I remember Johnny Cash did something for Coca-Cola back in the
late sixties? That's the drink not the other. ;- )

"Take a B.C. powder, and come back Strong!" with a wink, and a fist
jabbing the air from his hip, while wearing a leisure suit jacket with
wide lapels, and a gold chain on his neck.

A few years ago, there was a "Lipton Tea Cowboy" commercial. Junior
Brown was the cowboy. He also was featured in a Gap commercial, I seem
to recall.
