Speaking of truckin' songs, a couple weeks ago on a camping trip in my
old GMC pickup, I drove over Wolf Creek Pass. Now I know first-hand what
CJ McCall was singin' about -- it sure ain't a place to strip your gears
or lose your brakes. But I didn't have any chickens along. -- Dick

Speaking of a "Tombstone Every Mile" the semi-legendary Bill Kirchen,
he of Commander Cody & The Lost Planet Airmen" fame does a great
version . As I ALWAYS say, it still comes down to the song, and when
you add the legendary Kirchen's guitar to the mix, even you idgits
should be able to get the picture. : )

"Phantom 309 " (Live) - Tom Waits Listen to it on a dark night out
on the porch overlooking the back forty : ) and it'll give you
goosebumps. At least the two or three idgits in this group that still
have a pulse. : ) LOL !!!!!!!!!

"Hillbilly Truck Driving Man" - Bill Kirchen . Despite the fact that
he mentions that scumbag/windbag Bill Mack : ) in the lyrics, it's a
GREAT song .

"Tied To The Wheel" - Bill Kirchen . A MUST listen for anyone who's
EVER driven a truck . (Attention Lame I Lost My Clothes Again
Gray). : ) This song is so realistic, you'll need a couple of bennies
and a cup of coffee just to listen to it !
