hell is goin' on thar ain't nobody postin' on here anymore, must be
because country music is dead, BUT, what about the few who are tryin'
to uphold the tradition, can't remember their names (Johnson, Lambert)
but, I guess everbody's dyin' off, so, to hell with it, don't post
your favorite song. I mean why not Red Foley's "Smoke On The Water"
vs Deep Purple's version. just ramblin' after the fire tonight.

You're probably thinking of Bob Moore, but I've got a feeling "Dolly
Parton" would also be an acceptable correct answer. Depeds on who's
HOF you're talking about? : )

Reminds me of a little joke Buck Owens used to use when introducing
Susan Raye. I'm paraphrasing but he'd begin and say that "we've been
spending a lot of time together" or "we've been working together" and
then he'd pause while the audience invariably started with all the
hooting and catcalls, and then he'd feign surprise and say something
like "Now wait a minute, I mean we've been making some records
together" . Then, after another pause, "Well maybe they haven't
exactly been "records", but they've been some dang good
averages" ! : )

Followed by the inevitable Ba-Da-BUMP RIM - SHOT!
