When the Country Music Association (CMA) asked George Jones to trim his
act to 90 seconds for the 1999 CMA awards, Jones decided to boycott the
event. In solidarity, Jackson interrupted his own song and launched into
Jones's song "Choices."[8]

Actually, I believe the line is "why, old Hank, he wouldn't stand a chance
on today's radio".
No mention of a last name. So, it could be any number of Hanks: Hank
Williams, Hank Snow, Hank Thompson, Hack Lochlin, Hank Cochran, or maybe
even Hank Hill (King Of The Hill). LOL
Another line is "Why, the Hag wouldn't have a chance on today's radio"
Also, "Why, they'd even tell 'The Possum' to pack up and go back home."

As for the HOF, like anything else, it usually has more to do with politics
than who deserves to get in.

Take Care
Merle
