After reading your posting, I was a bit curious myself.I know Contemporary
Christian artist Sandi Patti recordedthis back in the 80s. I couldn't find
the lyrics on the net inSpanish, but I was able to find an Online Spanish
Translatorto translate it. I had a Hispanic friend proofread it. If
youever need anything translated in any language, try usingthis website:
http://www.studyspanish.com/translator.htm 1. On a hill far away
stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame;
and I love that old cross where the dearest and best for a world of
lost sinners was slain. Refrain: So I'll cherish the old rugged
cross, till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to
the old rugged cross, and exchange it some day for a crown. 2. O
that old rugged cross, so despised by the world, has a wondrous
attraction for me; for the dear Lamb of God left his glory above
to bear it to dark Calvary. (Refrain) 3. In that old rugged
cross, stained with blood so divine, a wondrous beauty I see,
for 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died, to pardon and
sanctify me. (Refrain) 4. To that old rugged cross I will ever
be true, its shame and reproach gladly bear; then he'll call
me some day to my home far away, where his glory forever I'll share.
(Refrain)

Verse 1:

En una colina lejana colocaba una vieja cruz rugosa,

el emblema del sufrimiento y de la vergüenza;

y amo esa vieja cruz donde el más estimado y el mejor

para un mundo de pecadores perdidos fue matado.

Refrain:

Acariciaré tan la vieja cruz rugosa,

hasta mis trofeos en el último coloco;

Me aferraré en la vieja cruz rugosa,

e intercambíelo un cierto día para una corona.

Verse 2:

O que vieja cruz rugosa, desdeñada tan por el mundo,

tiene una atracción maravillosa para mí;

Verse 4:

A esa vieja cruz rugosa seré nunca verdad,

su oso de la vergüenza y de la reprobación alegre;

entonces él me llamará un cierto día a mi lejano casero,

donde su gloria yo compartirá por siempre.

You state "anything translated in ANY language" yet the site shows
only English to Spanish or Spanish to English. Where are the other
languages?
