North Western - "North to Alaska" Johnny Horton

Galactic-North Western: theme from "Star Trek" (supposedly the show
was quite frankly conceived as an outer-space variation of "Wagon
Train.")

More seriously, check out the Chuck Wagon and the Wheels medley of
"Ghost Riders in the Sky" and the themes from "Rawhide" and "Have Gun,
Will Travel." (Apparently the band is still around, though they're
now called Chuck "Wagon" Maultsby And His Old Band, having sold off
their original name some years ago). You can stream it or buy it as a
download on their MySpace page.

Best instrumental: theme from "Bonanza." Actually there were lyrics,
but I'm told that they were used only once, probably on the pilot
episode. This I learned from a radio show about theme music -- the
debut of the tremendously long running "Bonanza" was before my
time. I seem to recall the lyrics, which they played, as
generically faux-mythic oatburner stuff, and will further speculate
from memory that the host said they were written before the show was
filmed and, as it turned out, didn't have much to do with it.

Unfortunately idgit, you've been told a lot of things in your
lifetime, BUT ... the problem is we all have to decide ON OUR OWN who
to believe. : ) Obviously with your self important, smarmy nose up in
the air all the time, you border on delusional, and wouldn't know who
to believe if the people you meet came with instructions. : )

Anyhow, forget the "PROBABLY", and just admit that AS USUAL, when it
comes to almost everything, but ESPECIALLY Country Music, you don't
know what you're talking about, but that's never stopped you from
talking down to everyone, with a couple of million words of complete
nonsense. : ) I'm gonna guess you were/are an only child or youngest
