Hi

I was listening to the GREAT Roger Miller today, and heard him sing
"Arkansas" . I immediately thought of this list, and realized that we
didn't have a song by the GREAT Roger Miller, SO ... as much as I
LOVE David Ball, I'm gonna have to replace him with Roger Miller for
Arkansas.

Secondly, in light of David Ball's GREATNESS, it would be almost as
much of a crime if we left him off the list, SO ... even though Rusty
and Doug Kershaw's "Louisiana Man" is sort of a "standard" , I've gone
on record enough in here to barbecue Doug Kershaw as one of the WORST
examples of Country music I've EVER heard, therefore it the persuit of
truth, justice and the American way : ) I'm going to replace the
Kershaw's so-so song with the unheard, unknown and virtually
unbelievable : ) "Louisiana Melody" by David Ball .

Yes I know 99 44/100 of the listening and reading public have never
heard "Louisiana Melody", but thankfully for all my subjects I
HAVE !!!!!

I now command my billions of followers, to immediately search for and
download "Louisiana Melody" thereby creating an internet sensation,
and a toe-tapping frenzy, unlike anything ever heard or felt before.
Let me go on record right now, and predict the ensuing wortldwide toe-
tapping, knee-slapping air-guitar like beat-a-thon will immediately be
felt all over the world, and will cause untold amounts of avalanches
and earthquakes all over your little sphere called "Earth" . : )

Remember to take cover, and turn the music UP !

Absolutely ! Great song . Mel McDaniel didn't have that long of a
career compared to a lot of our heroes, but for about 10 years or so
he put out a TON of great stuff .

Off the top of my head I'm not sure who wrote it , but "Maximum Living
On A Minimum Wage" is a great line, and one of the things that makes
Country Music so great.

Besides, anyone who was lucky enough to have a beautiful woman, or
even if you weren't and could only stare at that beautiful woman every
time she walked by, : ) will still smile EVERY time they hear "Baby's
Got Her Blue Jeans On' .

Just like the group, "Classic Country" . : )

Have you gone soft in the head? He's just another member of the Grand

Have you gone soft in the head? <
Please. I think the more telling question would be "Have you gone fat
in the body "? Obviously all that man-hating comes from somewhere.
LOL !!!!!!!

>He's just another member of the Grand Ole Opry home for wayward
boys. <

Just what EXACTLY is your point, I mean besides the obvious one on
your head ? : )

If you're looking for well behaved Mama's boys, I would suggest you're
in the right place, spending your life in academia. : )
LOL !!!!!!!!!!! I mean have you ever met a college teacher who wasn't
a draft dodger AND effeminate ? : ) I didn't think so . Secondly, the
other side of the stereotype is overweight, plain , matronly women .
Do the math .

Secondly, what does Mel McDaniel's or any other singer's character
have to do with ANYTHING ? IT STILL COMES DOWN TO THE
SONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All you have to do is look at the
songwriting credits of Mel McDaniel's songs . End of story .

As I've been trying to show you for decades honey, you have
issues. : ) Stick to your Pat Boone, The Browns, Barry Manilow and
your Christian Country records, or at least something you have some
knowledge about ! :) LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. - If you're secretly looking for Rhett Butler or some other "real
man" to treat you like a woman , : ) you're gonna have to vist that
"home for wayward boys" sooner or later, aren't you ! :) LOL !!!!!!!!
You haven't been having any inappropriate meetings after school with
any of your students have you ? :) LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lord have mercey, don't subject me to another Mel McDaniel's song.<
Again, that's fine if you don't like his songs, because as I've
mentioned most of them were written by some of the greatest
songwriters in Country music history, and it just illustrates what
I've repeated a million times that like MOST women, you don't have a
clue about music. Never have, never will. It's one of those left
brain, right brain things.

The problem was you originally dismissed Mel McDaniel as one of those
"wayward boys" of the Grand Ole Opry, as though that has ANYTHING to
do with the music. A typical non-thinking knee jerk response from a
typical lazy teacher.

Lord knows I've bashed Tim McGraw enough times in here, but that
doesn't change the FACT that he's recorded a LOT of good songs.

The problem with most (ALL) teachers, is that they spend their entire
lives in a bubble, and lose the ability to think . They get so used to
brow-beating children, they become convinced of their
intelligence. : )

You're delusional. (And did I mention CLUELESS about music ? )

Lol at your slobbering over Mel. Stand up and testify! Too funny.
Lol at it's all about the music. Someone forgot to tell Mel because
he thinks it's all about the RV resorts.
