She can join Jewel and Jessica Simpson. That's right, Jessica Simpson.

She dates a bull rider. She hosts Nashville Star. She's been thrown
from a horse. In short, Jewel going country was only a matter of time.
That time has come, as the Alaskan songstress has started working with
John Rich of Big & Rich, who also happens to be helping Jessica
Simpson do the same. "If I had been discovered now, living in my car
in San Diego, I think I would have been signed as a country act," says
Jewel.

PUH-LEEZE !!!!!!!!! Apparently the PR people are cranking out this
crap like wrapping paper this time of year. : ) She's spent a hell of
a lot MORE time surrounded by bull slingers than bull riders. We
discussed all this about a month ago, and basically her sales have
gone from something like 12 million to just her immediate family, : )
which is why naturally she was unceremoniously dropped from her label,
and these days she can't get arrested carrying ticking time bombs
through airports. : )

And would probably never have been heard from. What she fails to
mention is that one of the "Red Hot Chili Peppers" I believe ,
basically adopted her, and she rode their coattails to her initial
success. The problem is, like I said after the initial 12 milliuon
sales, she's basically been abandoned . If she'd give up the bullrider
and marry the guy from the Red Hot Chili Peppers she'd be back to
platinum status and some grammy's on top of it. : ) Until then, she's
got to make it on her own, and let's be polite and say that that
plan's isn't working too well !

Isn't Springsteen recently divorced ? LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
